What information I collect and why

Contact and booking forms

When you fill in my contact form or book a no-obligation chat, I collect your name and email address and any additional information you choose to share in your message. I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, confirm your booking and for sending newsletters.

Newsletter sign-up

If you sign up to receive emails from me, I collect your name, email address and phone number. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email I send.

If you choose to contact me via WhatsApp, your name and phone number will be visible to me as part of that conversation. I will only use this to communicate with you directly.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to help me understand how visitors use the site - for example which pages are most visited and how long people spend on them. This data is anonymous and does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via your browser settings or by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How your data is stored and processed

Funnel Sketchers/Go High Level

My forms, bookings and email marketing are managed through Funnel Sketchers. Funnel Sketchers operates on the Go High Level platform, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and fully GDPR compliant. Data collected through these tools is processed on my behalf and is not used for any other purpose. Google Workspace

Email communications sent to and from karen<at>karengibbdotcom are handled via Google Workspace. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Wix

This website is hosted on Wix. Wix's privacy policy is available at wix.com/about/privacy.

This website uses cookies to function properly and to collect anonymous analytics data via Google Analytics. When you first visit the site you will be asked to accept or decline cookies. You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie settings on the site.

How long I keep your data

I only keep your data for as long as necessary. If you enquire but we do not work together, I will retain your contact details for a reasonable period in case you get in touch again, after which they will be deleted. If you are a client, I retain relevant records for the duration of our contract and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data I hold about you
Request that I correct any inaccurate data
Request that I delete your data
Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
