What I Actually Do When You Bring Me Into Your DMs

"So what do you actually do?"

I get asked this a lot, which is completely fair. It can sound vague until you see how it works in practice. So here's the honest, no-fluff breakdown.

1. I Work With Your Existing Warm Leads, Not New Ones

This is the most common point of confusion. I don't run ads, build funnels or handle content, scheduling or growing your follower count.

Instead, I focus entirely on the warm engagement you're already generating:

  • Story replies and quiz interactions

  • Questions in your post comments

  • Inbound direct messages from prospects who already know, like and trust your brand

My job is simple: make sure high-intent interest never goes cold.

2. Daily Follow-Up Protects Your Conversion Rates

Lead responsiveness decays quickly. A prospect who gets a personal, helpful reply within hours experiences a completely different brand than one who waits three days, or worse, gets left on read.

Every day, I'm in your Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn DMs to:

  • Answer inbound questions in your brand voice

  • Follow up with warm leads who haven't taken the next step

  • Keep your pipeline organised and moving forward

3. Human Nurturing Over High-Pressure Sales

There's a massive difference between chasing a sale and genuinely nurturing a warm lead, and your audience can tell the difference instantly.

My approach relies on methodical, human-led follow-up:

  • Direct answers: addressing the exact question someone asked, rather than pasting a generic template

  • Low-pressure check-ins: following up naturally, without aggressive or pushy tactics

  • Frictionless next steps: making it easy for a ready buyer to book a call or buy when they're prepared

4. How This Is Different From General VA Support

A general Virtual Assistant typically handles your inbox between scheduling appointments, admin and organising files.

What I do is different. I bring judgement to your sales conversations, deciding who's worth following up with, when to nudge and when to hand over, backed by 8+ years running a six-figure business (Mind Marvels) and years of ex-teacher patience for chaos.

Turn Your Social Media Engagement Into Sales

If you're generating plenty of engagement but struggling to turn comments and DMs into paying clients, the gap usually isn't your content. It's your follow-up.

Stop letting warm prospects go quiet.

The Strange Problem of Being Too Human

Here's a genuinely funny problem I run into: I'll message someone directly, personally, about something specific to their actual business, and they'll still assume it's automated. That's not a complim

Why Following Up Isn't the Same as Being Pushy

I used to think reaching out twice made me annoying. Turns out it just made me forgettable, because nobody remembers the person who asked once and disappeared. That fear of "bothering" someone is one
